  • Condition: Pre-owned, used condition. The limbs swing freely on this doll. There are some little chips along the upper hip rims. The bisque of the arms and hands appear a little crudely molded and there is a tiny excess bit on the front of the right arm. I have not cleaned the bisque and there are smudges and light soiling. Light wear to the paint. One cheek has more paint than the other. The replacement gown has minor aging or soiling, and it has not been placed back on the doll (but is included).

    Vintage 2 1/4" numbered Miniature Jointed Bisque Girl Baby Doll with Gown
    Here is a vintage miniature all bisque jointed doll with what may be a replacement gown. This is an estate find, along with several other antique and vintage bisque dolls that are listed separately. I am not a doll expert and may make a mistake in describing this doll or terms used. Please email with questions.
    Approx. 2 1/4" tall. Bisque head and body with wire jointed limbs. There are number marks on the back but I am not sure what they are - look like 280 and 502 or S02. The legs may also be marked 502 or S02. May be German made but it is not marked Germany. Painted light brown hair, brown brows, black eyes, red lips and rosy cheeks. Looks like molded high top shoes (or shoes with socks).
    I slipped the hand stitched white linen gown off over her head and arms. The armholes were cutout and not finished. It has a pink ribbon bow attached that tied around the back. This looks like a vintage replacement gown that someone made for the doll to wear. I did not place it back on the doll.
