Lot Vintage Bisque Penny Frzn Charolette Small Dolls Nippon Japan 20’s 30’s. Condition is Used.
7 small dolls. I am not an expert collector so I can’t guarantee the time period they are all from. They appear to be 20’s- 40’s. Many say Japan. They are all very unique and very charming. Bisque or porcelain—not sure of all the materials.
I try to represent my items honestly and accurately. But I’m not sure what to look for so please read the description and zoom in on pictures. Ask questions or ask for more photos.
The two that are holding books have a tiny chip on their feet.
The girl with the red dress and red hat has a jointed head with a little elastic. It’s naturally titled to the side. Almost like you can make it move or nod. I see a couple fissure lines. Not really that noticeable to me but see pictures. One in front and one in back and can make out an “ny” inscription in the back. Possibly Germany?
The boy in the black tux looking outfit has jointed arms that swivel.
The twin babies with fabric clothes have jointed/swivel arms. I’m afraid to take off the clothes and ruin them not sure what kind of joint they have. The backs of the dresses show some wear.
