Pilpul is a form of Talmudry. When a Jew is committed to manipulating an audience or person with him he is in a discussion of his correctness, regardless of the evidence presented against his point. The Jew will engage in Doublespeak, often stating that he agrees with your point (and then immediately contradicting it), semantics, and rhetorical smoke screens of sophistry until the opponent in the debate stops trying to win the argument because they are too exhausted to continue arguing with the Jew. Pilpul is associated with Chutzpah.
